# Google Search Console and Analytics

> Connect a Google account to put your search queries, impressions and traffic next to your AI mentions — what it feeds, what it needs, how often it pulls, and how to disconnect.

The Google integration brings two read-only sources into the workspace: **Search Console** (what people searched, how often Google showed you, clicks) and **Google Analytics 4** (visits, and which of them an AI assistant sent). It is what lets Bluemoon put a tracked AI question beside the Google searches that read alike.

## Connect

1. Open **Settings → Integrations** and click **Sign in with Google**. A workspace **Admin** does this.
2. Grant the two read-only scopes Bluemoon asks for: Search Console (`webmasters.readonly`) and Analytics (`analytics.readonly`). Nothing is written to your Google properties.
3. On the setup page, pick for each website the **Search Console property** and the **Analytics property** that correspond to it. A brand tracked in several markets is one website with one property of each kind.

The row on the Integrations page then shows two dates: when access was authorised, and when data was last **collected**. The first without the second means the pull has not run yet.

## How often

Data is pulled **once a day**, at 04:00 UTC, for every connected workspace, over a sliding window of recent days. Search Console holds its most recent days back, so a freshly connected property can take a few days to show anything. The nightly job also matches your questions to the searches that read alike; until it has run for a website, the Attribution page says so.

## Disconnect

**Settings → Integrations → Disconnect** revokes Bluemoon's access at Google immediately and deletes the stored credential. Reconnecting later means picking the properties again.

## Troubleshooting

* **"Google Search Console has reported nothing for this window"** — either the property is new to Bluemoon and the daily pull has not caught up, or the Search Console property you picked receives no impressions. Check the property in Search Console itself.
* **"Google Analytics isn't connected"** on the Pages or Traffic screens — the Google account is connected but no Analytics property was picked for this website. Open **Settings → Integrations → Manage**.
* **Last sync failed** on the Integrations row — the daily pull hit an error. Reconnecting the account usually resolves a revoked or expired grant; if it keeps failing, contact [support](/support) with the website name.
