# OpenAI Ads

> Connect your OpenAI Ads account so the ads Bluemoon writes for ChatGPT land there as paused draft campaigns — nothing goes live from Bluemoon.

The **Ads generation** tool writes ad copy from the real answers the AI engines give about your brand on a theme. For ChatGPT, the ads you keep can be sent to your own OpenAI Ads account.

## Connect

1. In your OpenAI Ads account, create an API key.
2. In Bluemoon, open **Settings → Integrations → OpenAI Ads** and paste it. A workspace **Admin** does this.
3. Bluemoon checks the key against your ad account before saving it, and shows the account's name once linked.

The key is stored encrypted, never shown again, and never sent anywhere but OpenAI.

## What is pushed

Everything Bluemoon pushes is a **paused draft**: a campaign with one ad group carrying your context hints, and one ad per variant you kept. Nothing spends until you activate it inside the OpenAI Ads console. Bids and daily budgets are neutral placeholders you adjust there.

If creating the ads fails on OpenAI's side, the campaign and ad group draft still exist; the tool tells you how many ads were created and how many failed.

## Google Ads

Google Ads generation is not live yet. A saved Google set can be reviewed and copied from the tool; nothing is exported to a Google Ads account.

## Disconnect

**Disconnect** deletes the stored key. Campaigns already pushed stay in your OpenAI Ads account.
