The Agent Edge Network — the half that runs inside your own site — is a separate install. See Connect to the Agent Edge Network once measurement is running.
Create your workspace
Sign up at app.trybluemoon.com with Google or an email and password. The first account creates the workspace and becomes its Admin. Everyone else joins by invitation (see Workspace, team and settings). The interface is available in English, French and German; pick the language from the header. Reports and the weekly email are written in English whatever the interface language. The setup steps
Setup is a guided sequence. Each step generates a draft for you to edit; nothing is polled until you launch.1
Site
Your domain (without
http:// or www.), your brand name, a short description of what the business does, and the market: the country the answers should be collected for and the language the questions are asked in. The description is used as context for every generation that follows, so a precise one pays off.2
Topics
The themes your buyers ask about. Bluemoon proposes them from the site and the description; you edit, add and remove. Each topic carries a tier (core, adjacent, broad, peripheral) that later weights Commercial reach — see Prompts, themes and personas.
3
Personas
Three to five buyer profiles. A persona’s description is sent to the AI engines as the system message when its questions are asked, so it changes the answers you collect.
4
Prompts
The tracked questions themselves, grouped by topic and persona, written the way a real buyer would type them and deliberately without your brand name. You can also import questions later from a CSV or from your Google Search Console queries.
5
Competitors
The brands you want to be measured against. Bluemoon proposes candidates for the market; untick what is not a competitor, nothing is added until you confirm.
6
Plan
Pick a plan and enter a card. Every public paid plan starts with a 7-day free trial: the card is collected up front and charged when the trial ends. A trial opens the full plan from day one — the same engines and the same limits — it only decides when the first charge lands. Workspaces created by invitation on a managed plan skip this step.
7
Launch
The first scan starts. Setup can be left and resumed: the draft is saved as you go.
What happens after launch
- First answers within minutes. The first scan queries each engine your plan runs, for every active question. Preliminary answers appear within about 15 seconds when an engine’s own API answers instantly; the full collected answer replaces them in place within about two minutes. Scores follow shortly after each answer lands.
- The dashboard fills in progressively. The Overview shows the scan’s progress, then the visibility tiles. Trend lines start with the second scan; comparisons that need several days of answers say so rather than showing a number.
- Then once a day. Every active question is asked again daily, starting at the time chosen in Settings → AI platforms → Daily scan time (UTC). A workspace Admin can also run a scan by hand from the Overview at any time.
Add more markets or websites
A market is one website tracked in one country and one language. A brand sold in Switzerland, France and Germany is three markets, each with its own questions, competitors and answers. Add one from Settings → Domains & markets; the plan decides how many markets and how many websites you can track at once. Stopping a market pauses its questions and frees the slot immediately without deleting anything.Where to go next
